Hackathons & Fireside chats

Hackathons at Think 3000: hosted by RMIT Activator

At Think 3000, hackathons are all about tackling real-world challenges with bold thinking and collaboration. These high-energy sessions bring together innovators, strategists, creatives, and problem-solvers to rethink industries, design smarter solutions, and create meaningful change. It’s not about tech—it’s about ideas, insights, and fresh perspectives that drive real impact. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a designer, or just someone who loves solving big problems, our hackathons are the perfect place to test ideas, challenge assumptions, and build something that matters.

Day 1: Presented by Medibank

How might we use AI to create flexible, engaging, and inclusive workplaces that help people thrive and achieve long-term success?

This exclusive session is invite-only, and spots are filling up fast. Due to high demand, we have limited availability. If you would like to attend the Medibank Hackathon, email industry.engagement@rmit.edu.au with 'HACKATHON' in the subject line as soon as possible.

Day 2: Presented by RMIT’s Disability & Neurodiversity Staff Network

How Disability and Neurodiversity Affect Everyone – The Future of Workplaces.

How might you collaborate and succeed with colleagues who think or operate differently to yourself, whether you are a person with a disability or not, are neurotypical or neurodiverse or lives with anxiety and depression.
